Who this is for
Athletes from Melbourne, Viera, Palm Bay, and across Brevard who want to be faster and stronger than the kid across from them. Team practice teaches the sport. This is where you build the engine underneath it.
- High school athletes in football, soccer, baseball, softball, lacrosse, volleyball, or track
- College athletes home for summer who need to show up in shape for camp
- Athletes who have never been taught to squat, clean, or sprint properly
- Parents who want a coach in the room, not a weight room left unsupervised
- Anyone coming back from a season and ready to build in the off-season

Skip it if
Performance training is demanding and it is built for athletes who compete. If any of these sound like you, we have a better fit and will say so at the consult.
- You are not playing a sport and want to lose fat or feel better. Weight loss or wellness coaching fits better.
- You are under a doctor's or athletic trainer's restriction and have not been cleared. Get cleared first.
- You want sport-specific skill work like pitching or route running. We build the athlete, your sport coach builds the skill.
- You are under 13. Ask us about small group options for younger athletes.
Train like the season depends on it
Every block is planned against your schedule: off-season to build, pre-season to sharpen, in-season to stay strong without wrecking your legs for game day.
Speed and acceleration
First-step quickness, sprint mechanics, and change of direction drilled with a coach watching every rep.
Strength that transfers
Squat, hinge, press, and pull taught from the ground up. Lexie coaches the barbell lifts, including Olympic lifts when you are ready.
Conditioning for your sport
Work-to-rest ratios that match your game, not a random circuit. Built up in the off-season, maintained in-season.
In-season vs off-season
Off-season is where you build. In-season sessions are shorter and focused on keeping what you gained without extra soreness.
Private studio, real supervision
No unsupervised weight room. A coach in the room on S Babcock St, correcting form on every set.
Fueling and recovery basics
Simple guidance on eating enough, hydrating in the Florida heat, and sleeping so the work sticks.

I love training with Lexie. She is not only a great trainer but makes it personalized where you can talk to her about anything and ask her a question without judgement. She works with you for nutrition and will make sure you understand it in depth. I have not only gotten stronger, I have lost body fat and gained muscle mass within the last month and a half of working with her. She cares about each and every one of her customers! I would recommend Lexie to anyone!!

I can't recommend Lexie highly enough! She's truly a fantastic personal trainer. Not only is she certified in both nutrition and personal training (a huge plus!), but she's also incredibly goal-oriented. From our initial consultation, she helped me define realistic and achievable targets, and then developed a personalized plan to get me there. I really appreciate her focus on time management – our sessions are always efficient and productive, and she's respectful of my busy schedule. What sets Lexie apart is her resourcefulness. She's always coming up with creative ways to keep my workouts challenging and engaging, and if I have any questions (about fitness or nutrition), she's a wealth of knowledge. Beyond her professional skills, she's also a genuinely personable and supportive trainer. She motivates me to push myself while also making our sessions enjoyable. If you're looking for a trainer who is knowledgeable, dedicated, and truly cares about your success, Lexi is the perfect choice!

Cody is hands down the best personal trainer I’ve ever worked with. His coaching style is the perfect balance of pushing you to that next level while still knowing exactly when your body has hit its limit. He genuinely cares about his clients’ success—not just in the gym, but in their overall lifestyle.
What really sets Cody apart is that he doesn’t just show up and tell you what exercises to do. He takes the time to understand your goals, your challenges, and how to create long-term, sustainable success. Every session feels purposeful and personalized.
If you’re looking for a trainer who’s committed, knowledgeable, and truly invested in your growth, Cody is the one. Highly recommend!Terisa D. Trains with Coach Cody G

Athlete training questions answered
Straight answers for athletes and parents. Ask the rest at your free consult.
Free InBody scan and movement screen. No signup fees.
What age do you start athletes?
Most of our athletes are high school and college age. Younger athletes are considered case by case, usually in small group, with a focus on movement skills before loading. Ask at the free consult.
Can my athlete train here during the season?
Yes. In-season sessions are shorter and built to keep strength and speed without adding soreness before games. We plan around the practice and game schedule you give us.
Is this sport-specific training?
It is athlete-specific. We build speed, strength, and conditioning matched to your sport's demands. Skill work like hitting, throwing, or footwork stays with your sport coach.
Do you teach Olympic lifts?
Yes, when the athlete is ready. Lexie has a competitive weightlifting background and coaches the clean and snatch from the ground up, technique before load. Nobody is thrown under a bar on day one.
Can parents watch?
Absolutely. The studio on S Babcock St is private, and parents are welcome at the consult and at sessions. You will see exactly how your athlete is being coached.
How much does athlete performance training cost in Melbourne, FL?
It depends on sessions per week, 1-on-1 versus small group with teammates, and how long the block runs. We quote after the free consult and InBody scan. No signup or cancellation fees.
How many sessions a week should an athlete train?
In the off-season, two or three sessions a week works for most athletes. In season we usually drop to one or two shorter sessions so they stay fresh for games.
Can my athlete train with an injury?
It depends on the injury. Get clearance from a doctor or physical therapist first, then we train around it and keep the rest of the body strong.
Do you train athletes from Viera, Palm Bay, and the beaches?
Yes. Athletes from schools across Brevard train at our Melbourne studio on S Babcock St. Small group sessions let teammates train together.
What should my athlete bring to the first session?
Training shoes, water, and a rough calendar of practices and games for the season. That lets your coach plan training that fits around the sport schedule.
